In the future the flush toilet will become extinct. It makes no sense to flush excreta with precious drinking water. It's costly in terms of money and energy. In rural areas dry toilets have already become the best accepted technology. It's called Ecological Sanitation.

At current rates of progress the Millennium Development Goals sanitation target will not be met until the 22nd century. That's over 80 years too late!

One gram of faeces can contain 10 million viruses, one million bacteria, 1000 parasite cysts and 100 parasite eggs.

Every day 2.6 billion people do not have somewhere safe, private or hygienic to go to the toilet.

We hope you will be happy with your purchases from CORD's Toilet Twinning.org! All profits from our sales go directly to working with people affected by violent conflict around the world. In the rare event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase you may return it within 21 days for a refund or exchange – no questions asked so long as they are returned in their original condition and packaging.

Unless the product is faulty, after this period you will be subject to a restocking charge of 20% and we reserve the right to decline a refund. Please contact us on +44 (0)1926 315301 before you return any items or they may be declined. This does not affect your statutory rights including The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Because Toilet Twinning's count as a donation, our 21 day no-questions-asked returns policy does not apply, and under Charity Commission rules, we are unable to give you a refund. We can however offer you with a replacement Alternative Gift of the same or very similar value. Equally you should be aware that Toilet Twinning's and Alternative Gifts do not come under the The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
